Fertilizer production
Introduction:
Nowadays, many new fertilizer production plants are being built. Some of them with a very big capacity, even more then 200 000 m3/hour of waste gas.
The emissions , which are present in the exhaust air here, are not only water soluble and insoluble dust particles, but also gaseous emissions such as ammonium, nitrogen oxide or hydrofluoric acid.
Combined absorber with more stages is used for their removal. The design is always tailored depending on the input data as well as external circumstances and the wish of the customer. On one hand there are very high requirements for the emissions removal and on the other hand it is desirable to have very high concentration of the scrubbing solution in order to re-use it in the production process and therefore reduce costs of production.
